Tenkiller State Park Pool

Swimming – The park swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The pool area offers a refreshment stand, life jackets, pool toys and floats. Reservations can be made for private swim parties in the evening. Season passes may be purchased. Please call the park office for information. Memorial Day Through Labor Day

Kids Fishing Pond- A half-acre handicapped accessible kids fishing pond for children 16 and under is located near the park entrance. The pond is stocked with trout from December through April. A park trout tag must be purchased when fishing for trout. The pond is stocked with a variety of catfish during the summer season.

Nature Center – Wildlife exhibits, and enclosed bee observation hive, an outdoor wildlife viewing area and nature pond are located in the nature center. Special programs and arts & crafts activities for all ages are available. Activity schedules are posted throughout the park.

Hayrides – Weekend hayrides can be booked through the park naturalist. Registrations are required and seating is limited to 25. After the hayride; enjoy and evening campfire. Guests are encouraged to bring hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting.

Hiking Trails – The park has several trails for hiking enthusiasts. A one-half mile nature trail is located near the nature center. A one-half mile nature trails is located near the nature center. A 1-mile nature trail is located near the nature center. A 1-mile handicapped accessible, paved trail is also available. The paved trail follows a path around the nature center, pool, cabin areas and offers a spectacular view of the lake and the dam. The 1-mile Gum Springs Trail is located at Gooseneck Bend.

Lake Swim Beaches – Two swim areas with sandy beaches are located in Hickory Flats and Fisherman’s Point. Buoys mark the swimming areas. There are no lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk and observe all water safety rules.

Amphitheater – Located in the Eagle Point area, the amphitheater has a concrete stage and benches for seating. For a schedule of park events or other events, please call the park office.
